From nothing to a song on the Sonos.

Seven steps, about ten minutes. This page watches your setup and ticks each step off as it happens, so you can leave and come back.

Checking your setup…

After setup

  • • Next time, Start a Hive from the Hives page.
  • • Invite coworkers with a Hive link or the invite link in Settings. House rules, the volume ceiling, quiet hours and your music service live there too (owner only).
  • • If the home page ever says the bridge is offline, the computer running it probably went to sleep or lost the network. Come back to step 4 to check.
  • • The bridge checks for new releases once an hour and shows “Update available” on its status page at localhost:6330. Run the new installer over the old one to update.
